Chiapas state government of Mexico are proposing to build a bio jet fuel production plant in January 2012. This would help in perfecting the blending targets for aviation fuel for Mexican airlines to achieve. The government want one percent of renewable jet fuel to be blended with traditional aviation fuel by 2015. The plant will cost between US$40 million and US$80 million (€30-59 million) to construct.
