The worlds first Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is open for applications from businesses and communities across the UK. The incentive will provide payments for heat generated from renewable technologies including biomass boilers, solar thermal equipment, heat pumps that have been installed since July 15, 2009. Energy and Climate Change Minister Greg Barker said: “The RHI will usher in a new era in clean green heat technology.
