Microbial fuel cells the way forward in converting waste

Poor sanitation kills 5000 children per day, power demand is set to double by 2030 and global demand for water has tripled in the last 50 years. With the increasing population these trends will only get worse. new ways must be found to deal with poor sanitation, the global energy demands and water usage. A budding new technology known as Microbial fuel cell technology.
